Watches. We rely on them to get us where we need to be—on time. And with proper care, they’ll do just that. It’s an uncomplicated relationship. But is that all you expect in a watch? Not a chance. And is that all our watch designs strive toward? Well, you know the answer.
Ours comes from a relentless pursuit of craftsmanship, quality and design. In 1854, we combined European clockmaking and American ingenuity to take clocks from the mantels of the 1% and brought them to the world.
We were rebel watchmakers with a cause. Established in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company, we turned a 300-year-old industry upside down. We stamped our gears out of metal, instead of carving them from wood. We made smaller, more accurate movements faster than ever before. In fact, even Detroit’s automakers were inspired by our assembly lines when the automobile became a thing.
If the Waterbury watch is our soul, the Timex Easy Reader™ is our heart. Beautiful in its simplicity, the timeless, utilitarian design quickly became ubiquitous with Timex. Since 1977, we’ve made more than 100 million. If your father had a Timex, it was probably a Timex Easy Reader™. The influence of the Easy Reader’s minimalist beauty can be seen across nearly every Timex today.
Your wrist watch just might be the most defining accessory you could choose. Whether your taste runs the gamut of designer watches to expensive watches—even sport multifunction watches—we know that what you put on your wrist takes thought and maybe even a little time (how ironic) to settle on. It’s because you know that at a glance, your watch says something about you. And for the curious, it gives just enough insight as to who you are.
Your TIMEX® watch is warrantied against manufacturing defects by Timex Group USA, Inc. for a period of ONE YEAR from the original purchase date. Timex and its worldwide affiliates will honor this International Warranty.
Discounts are applicable to eligible products purchased on Timex.com, selected offers and promotions are only valid for shipment within the US.
